Chicago Demands GTA Ads Removal

Man, the government blames all of the violence in the country on video games don't they? I just laugh at how our politicians act like DOOM was responsible for Columbine or how a game that WASN'T RELEASED YET is somehow responsible for at least six shootings that happened in Chicago this year. OK, we have had violence since the beginning of our species. We are a violent people. We have had violence since the bible days, Ancient Greece, Egypt, Nazi Germany. Violence is everywhere. The only reason why our politician's choose video games is because it's an easy target. In my opinion, a majority of the video games that are sold or created, are violent.

Banning violent video games won't do anything. So, our politician's think that violent video games contribute to violent behavior eh? Violent video games do not contribute to violent behavior. I have played violent video games since I was five years old. You don't see me shooting people. Why? Cause I was taught that there is a difference between reality and fantasy. I was taught that if I ever attempted any of these things people could get hurt or killed. These ads will be taken down soon. They are not forcing Rockstar to take them down but they'll come down soon. Even if the ads are taken down, we see them everywhere on the internet. We see them in magazines, comic books, etc. They will not accomplish anything by taking down a few ads. Remember, violent video games do not contribute to violent behavior. It is only the truly sick that act out what they see in violent video games. I say, if you know the difference between reality and fantasy, you can play violent video games.
