Music For Your Face - Pink Floyd May 3, 2008
Tonight's musical fiesta is Pink Floyd's Live 8 performance of Comfortably Numb. This was the much talked-about Pink Floyd reunion with Roger Waters and it's amazing it even happened. Enjoy the vid-or else.

Iron Man Is Here May 3, 2008
As everyone in the world knows by know, Iron Man has been made into a new movie and a new video game, both of which came out yesterday. When I saw the movie trailer for the first time I thought it looked awesome. Then I found out Gwyneth Paltrow has a starring role.
Who, you ask? You Know, that old, boring, ordinary chick who claimed to be so disgusted with Hollywood's commercialism that she vowed she'd never return? Well, she's returning in Hollywood's most outrageously commercial film to be released this year!
If this chick were any more boring she'd be invisible. If she were any more pretentious she'd be the Queen Mum. If she were any more hypocritical she'd be John McCain.
Whatever. I'll still see the movie. I'll just shut my eyes and stick my fingers in my ears whenever she's on the screen.
As for the game. The review I read makes it sound interesting. I played the demo, though, and didn't think much of it. I'll rent the game anyway and try it out, but so help me God, if she shows up in the game I won't be returning the game to the video store in one piece.
The picture above is from Iron Man the game. Apparently, in addition to being able to fly, shoot repulser rays and rockets, and having the power to catch and redirect missiles, Iron Man also likes to play in the mud. Can't wait to try it out!

Guitar Hero Aerosmith - Finally, A Game For Girls! May 3, 2008
Aerosmith was the very first band I saw in concert, way back in 1977 during their Draw The Line tour. AC/DC was their unknown opening act. They were, at the time, my favorite band. With Rocks and Toys In The Attic still fresh, and their brand-new album Draw The Line just hitting the record stores, they were definitely at their peak.
Then they became a bunch of heroin addicts, or something, and sort of fell apart. Then they came back! As a girl-rock band. Releasing such forgettable girl-rock hits as "Angel" and "Amazing".
Don't get me wrong, I love Aerosmith. I'm still a huge fan of their older stuff. I just sort of lost interest when they started keeping their balls in their purses ten or fifteen years ago. Face it, they totally wussed out and started writing girl-rock tunes, Journey style, and they've never been the same. To me, anyway.
Now, they're back again! Yay! Since they're way too old to remember how to write great rock hits, they're re-hashing their old tunes in Guitar Hero Aerosmith. I'm honestly looking forward to the release of this game, set for June of this year. Like I said, I'm still a fan and I totally understand that it's much safer for the band to have a virtual Aerosmith jumping around a virtual stage than to do it for real and risk breaking a hip.

GTA IV - Awesome Game With No Problems May 3, 2008
I started playing Grand Theft Auto IV the day before yesterday. I've been playing it for eight to ten hours at a time between breaks, and I'm happy to report I haven't had a single instance of freezing. In fact, I haven't had any problems with the game.
The game itself is incredible. It totally lives up to the hype. The game missions get progressively harder as you get farther into the story line.
Right now, I'm trying to get through a bank robbery scene that's reminiscent of the movie "Heat". It's tough, and I haven't been able to pull it off without getting all my guys killed, but it's really cool.
If you don't have this game yet, get it. You'll love it. If you don't love it, well, maybe you'd be happier collecting dolls than playing video games, Sally.

Crying While Eating May 3, 2008
Satan's Little Gamer fan, Britney Spear's Vagina, emailed me a link to the bizzaro world site: cryingwhileeating.com.
I recommend checking it out. It's weird, but it's funny as hell, too. Check it out. Unless you're afraid. You're not afraid, are you, Mary?

4 Minutes Of Gameplay From GTA IV May 3, 2008
Here's four minutes of game play video from Grand Theft Auto IV. I don't know how long this video will continue to work. Rockstar seems to be ripping these videos down almost as fast as they go up. So enjoy it while it lasts!
Check out the guy crossing the street around the 0:38 mark. That's Entertainment!!
