Blizzard COO Says "Get A Job" July 1, 2008
According to an article posted over at Kotaku, Blizzard's COO, Paul Sams, says that it's pretty unlikely that WoW will ever be available to play for free. Crushing the hopes of many, including me.

I don’t envision us changing the business model for World of Warcraft. It’s been working really well in each of the markets.
Honestly, I get a lot of entertainment hours for my sixteen bucks a month, so it's hard to complain, but I'll complain anyway, because I'm a little bitch.
