Amazon.com Spore: 1,391 1-Star Reviews And Counting September 9, 2008
A majority of the reviews on Amazon are about the DRM (Digital Rights Management). As I said in other article, you can only activate this game three times. Then it's useless. Do Not Buy This Game. You will be wasting your money.

There Is A Way To Play Spore Without The Spyware From EA. Download It September 9, 2008
First things first, I am not encouraging anybody to do this. Here is what you do, go to a place like Limewire, Bitcomet, EDonkey, etc. Go download it. Some programmers have located the Malware and SecuROM and have completely removed it from the game with no aftereffects. That is probably the best way to get this game without having to have EA spy on you. Have fun playing Spore and Spore: Creature Creator.

There Is Another Problem With Spore September 9, 2008
Spore and Spore: Creature Creator contain something called DRM. Here is the bad news. You can only install this game three times. After that, you can't install the game anymore. Here is where the problem comes in. If you had a problem installing the game and have to reinstall it, there you go, one installation down, two to go. If you have to completely reinstall Windows or if you have XP and want to upgrade to Vista, your game is now gone. Two installations down, one to go. If you get a very bad virus or spyware (like the one EA put in their game), you have to reinstall Windows. There you go. Game over man, game over. Congratulations for spending $60 on Spore and Spore: Creature Creator. Isn't EA a great company? What a shitty way to treat their customers! Not only that, if you only install it once, a few years down the road, EA will shut down the activation servers. After that, you can never ever play your game again. Your account that you created and activated, is now disabled.

Want To Buy Spore? Think Again! September 9, 2008
If you have preordered Spore or Spore: Creature Creator, cancel it. If you have installed the demo of Spore: Creature Creator or have installed the full version, delete it and reinstall Windows. You may have gotten Spyware from EA. Yes, it is true, the games Spore and Spore: Creature Creator contain something called SecuROM. It is something you don't want in your computer. There is no way to locate it or remove it by uninstalling the game. You will have to resort to reinstalling Windows. That is exactly what I'm going to try to do today. So, EA is treating us like a bunch of criminals? Wow, what a shitty company if you ask me. The SecuROM is a piece of spyware. They are spying on you. Who knows what the fuck they're looking at in your computer! If you have installed the demo or the full version, remove it immediately! Click here to read the reviews on Amazon.com to get an idea of how bad this game is. Most of the customers cancelled their preorders cause of the DRM (SecuROM). Over 1,315 people have given the rating of 1.
