The Reason Why Microsoft Won't End The Halo Series November 26, 2008
I remember when I first saw the teaser for Halo 3 back in 2006. I remember reading the exact words, "Finish The Fight". Well, I finished the fight and there is no more fighting to do. I know that a lot of Halo fans are excited about Halo Wars and the recently announced Halo 3: Recon. I am not excited about either of these games. Why? Microsoft just announced that Halo 3 would be the last one they would make. The series wasn't even that good anyway. The reason why Microsoft releases more Halo games is because they know that if they give up Halo, they won't have any games that are moneymakers. It's like how Metroid, Mario, and Zelda are the moneymakers for Nintendo and Metal Gear Solid 4 was the moneymaker for Sony. If Microsoft gives up Halo, they got nothing that is a huge moneymaker except for the Gears of War series which sucks. I will never buy Halo Wars or Halo 3: Recon. I am done with Halo. Halo died after I completed Halo 3.
