It states in that magazine to the left, that Capcom is enthusiastic about making Dead Rising 2 and another Lost Planet game. I know it's in Japanese so I am linking the article here. They are thinking about making Dead Rising 2 a multi platform game. I hope it gets made on PC. My dad loved Dead Rising and I am sure he would love to play Dead Rising 2 on his PC. I am really enthusiastic too. I hope this game gets made soon. We need another Dead Rising game. I just hope to fucking God that George A. Romero or somebody doesn't sue them this time!

I tried out the demo of Resident Evil 5 from the Xbox Live Marketplace and I've got to tell you that it was the worst experience in my life! Ok, so the story is, you are Chris Redfield and you have your coop partner (forgot her name) and you have traveled to Africa for some reason. Well, that's enough of the story. When the game first started up, I was blown away with how cool the graphics looked. I looked right at Chris, the environment, etc. Everything looked so realistic. It was amazing. Well, the fun died away when I started playing. Guess what? This game still has the same movement controls since Resident Evil (1996). Here is what you do. You walk a little, stop, aim, shoot, turn, aim, shoot, walk a little more, stop, turn, aim, shoot, aim, shoot. This is very annoying and kills the fun for me. Why can't I just walk and shoot? Your guy moves very slowly and he turns very slowly too. He basically walks around like he has his feet stuck in cement blocks. The enemies won't die in one shot. You must kill them with the shotgun to do any real damage. The pistol is flat out useless! Anyway, I got out of this shed and this wall was knocked down in front of me and immediately, I was attacked by this dude with a bag over his head and a huge axe in his hands. I shot the fucker at least four or five times and he didn't die! He finally killed me and I ended the demo and deleted it from my hard drive. Well, I can officially say that RESIDENT EVIL IS DEAD! In Resident Evil 4, it had a story of Leon Kennedy going into this town and killing Spaniards everywhere! Same controls, same gameplay, etc. I have a feeling that the Resident Evil game will end in a few years.

The only Resident Evil games I've ever enjoyed were:

Resident Evil (1996)

Resident Evil 2 (1998)

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999)

Resident Evil Remake (2002)

Resident Evil: Dead Aim (2003)

Resident Evil: Outbreak (2003)

These games had a lot of things in common. Lots of zombies, scary experiment bosses, tons and tons of puzzles to solve, creepy locations, etc.

Capcom basically turned Resident Evil into Dead Rising. All you do now is kill crazed humans. There are very few experiment bosses, hardly any puzzles to solve, no creepy location, and no creepy zombies!
