One More Reason To Hate GameStop April 12, 2009
Kotaku has a great story posted that has my blood boiling. It seems GameStop allows it's employees to "checkout" new video games which they take home and play for up to four days. Then, when they bring them back to the store, they are sold as "new". Fucking ripoff.
From the article:
"When check-out games are returned, we were told, they are placed with the gutted display copies. If a customer asks about these, they are typically told they are display copies, not that they have been played before."
Read the article here and buy your games somewhere besides GameStop.
New Punch-Out Multi-Player Trailer April 12, 2009
Here's the new Punch-Out Multi-Player trailer that just came out. The more I see of this game, the more I want it. I want it the way a man wants a woman. The way a dog wants a bone. The way your mom wants me.
My Wii has been stashed in my basement for months now. Down there in the dark, stuffed into a corner behind the Christmas tree ornaments and old magazines, covered with spiderwebs and dust. Yessir, it looks like I'll finally have a reason to dig out the Wii and see if it still works.
The new Punch-Out is scheduled for release May 15th.
