PETA Fights Baby Seal Clubbing On WoW April 7, 2009
PETA is going to fight the baby seal clubbing on WOW. Ok? What about all the fluffy bunnies, squirrels, cats, turtles, etc.? Aren't you going to fight against the slaughter of innocent little cats in Silvermoon City (Home to the Blood Elves)? This is just pathetic! DO NOT LISTEN TO PETA! They are a joke! This saturday, PETA activists are to go to Howling Fjrd to take on 4 Canadian HORDE seal killers. Why the Horde you ask?
Well, this came from Kotaku:
- "Thrall refused to ban the slaughter of seals, despite multiple requests from the Alliance to do so, because Orgrimmar stands to make a large profit from the fur."
Are you kidding me PETA? This is a damn game! I only have one profession ladies and gentlemen. That is mining. Maybe I should take up skinning and find one of these activists and trade fur with them for money. They'll probably just /spit on me but I don't give a shit!
From Kotaku, You can participate in this protest but you must obey by the following:
- * You must be in the WhisperWind realm in order to fight. Visit WorldofWarcraft.com if you need information about how to switch into this realm.
- * Once in the WhisperWind realm, go to Northrend, where you will find a zone called Howling Fjord, where the baby seals live on glaciers and boats float in the fjords. This will be the battleground to stop the slaughter. (Note: You must be at least a Level 70 player in order to enter Howling Fjord.)
- * The battle will take place on Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m. EST.
