Microsoft Unveiled Project Natal At E3 June 3, 2009
Microsoft have unveiled a not so new feature to play video games. Without controllers. This has been tried before with the Xbox Live Vision Cam that I blew $20 on to play Rainbow Six Vegas and I never used it again. The Xbox Live Vision Cam could only scan 2D objects when this new gadget can scan 3D objects. It also has voice recognition and voice activation. Imagine just telling your video game system to start up a game for you instead of using your controller. I am pretty sure you would have to still use your controller to play your games. Imagine strangling somebody in Hitman: Blood Money without using a controller. Also, there is facial recognition. You can scan your face onto your Avatar or onto video game characters. We have had this feature before but it was only fun to use on Rainbow Six Vegas and Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Motion sensors have been a big failure in video games from what I have seen so far. The Power Glove for the NES was a failure, the Xbox Live Vision Cam for the Xbox 360 was a failure and the Wii Remote was a failure for the Nintendo Wii. I don't think this will work very well as it looks in the video. Maybe Microsoft has something that will actually work. Who knows, this could be a HUGE success or a complete failure. Only time will tell.

Perfect Dark Will Be Available on XBLA This Winter! June 3, 2009
At first, these were heavy rumors. Now, Larry Hryb posted on his Twitter account that the N64 game is going to be released on XBLA by Winter of this year. He also says that it is going to run at 1080p. Whatever the hell that means.
This sounds very cool. I am excited. I have played Perfect Dark for HOURS on end every day. It IS such a fun game. The problem I have is Goldeneye. Why isn't that being released? The game looked great! It was ready. Then, the game was canceled because it all came down to money. I wish Goldeneye was released first. You can read more here.
